Borsad, March 16:
Dr. Alpaben Patel, a resident of Bharana village in Borsad taluka and founder-president of Nav Gujarat Stree Adhikar Sangh, an organization dedicated to women empowerment and social upliftment, has been given an important international responsibility.

She has been appointed as the International Coordinator – Women & Social Empowerment by the Bharat-Nepal Maitri Forum (BNMF).

Dr. Alpaben will work in the Culture, Education & People-to-People Connect department. Her role will focus on strengthening friendly relations between India and Nepal, promoting peace, and contributing at an international level toward the social and educational development of women.

This appointment is for a term from March 13, 2026, to December 31, 2026.

Dr. Alpaben has been actively working for many years in Anand district and across Gujarat for women’s rights and social welfare.

With her appointment at the international platform, her service work will expand further, and cultural and social ties between India and Nepal will become stronger.
